“Few things I hate more than requests to review products I purchase, but this backpack is so perfect in every way I must give in to the automated email gods. I got tired of using unstructured hiking packs that were single-purpose and not even good for that purpose. The 5 Day Mule pack offers just the right amount of pockets to use as a travel pack, and has a real true to volume main pack that you can fit a ton in for long excursions. They call it a 5 Day pack but I was able to fit everything for a two week trip in there with room for more. Build quality is excellent, zippers are super smooth even when stuffed full, materials are top quality, and the styling is perfect for being able to use as a main bag for work trips without looking like a wanker with a classic hiking pack.”

“Got this bag for a Euro / Asia trip. Needed to fit a bunch of stuff, and fit in overhead on planes (like Ryan Air). It does both, and is built really well. Tons of specific zippers, hidden pockets, space, etc. Also, unzips all the way unlike most backpacks.
It’s a 10/10 for me dog.”

“I took this bag over to Europe for a 10 day trip. It fit perfectly in the carry-on compartments on airplanes. It fit plenty of clothing, and then some… Along with an extra pair of shoes. The outside pockets are really big and allow you to carry all your extras without taking room away from your clothes. The laptop pocket was great, and I used the little pocket on the back as my passport pocket. I would recommend this bag to anybody”
“Roark makes the perfect backpacks.. this 55L Bag has such great organizational structure that's incredibly useful while traveling. The hip belt makes it super comfortable to walk around with and the compression straps on the sides and bottom allow you to really compress the overall size of your bag which may even allow you to sneak it on as a carry-on (I did). The passport pocket and external laptop pocket make it easy to access your documents or electronics without opening up the main compartment. I really can't say enough about this bag. It's amazing, buy it.”
