“When I originally ordered this bag, the order went through but the bag was actually OOS - and Roark sent me a $50 rebate to use on my 2nd choice. The bag I ended up choosing had a wear issue with the water bottle pocket, and Roark replaced the bag for free. I dig the gear - but that's almost beside the point. When you have customer service like this, it keeps you coming back. The design of this bag is thoughtful, and the moving parts have held up for me well. Highly recommend!”

“I just finished a multi-week cross-country road trip with this bag in and out of hotels and campsites and so far am super happy with it. It has just the right combination of expandable open storage space with the roll top, but enough pockets to keep key items organized. The dual water bottle pockets are super convenient and everything feels well-made. The shoulder straps are oddly wide and while comfortable, feel a little odd when putting it on, but otherwise all good. Highly recommended and one of the best backpacks I've owned!”
