“I’ve been using this bag daily for a few months and it’s one of the best I’ve used. The main compartment is great and this bag seems way bigger than 25L because of the shape and the way it opens.. you’re able to get to everything. It’s comfortable, a great size, and looks good- modern and clean. I’m looking at getting the 45L or the 55L next.”
“2 years on from buying this bag, and from my first review. I needed to come back for an update. This bag has been with me everywhere, everyday. Everyday it goes to the gym with me, it comes with me to the office, spearfishing on the weekend, day hiking, rock climbing ever so often, carry on luggage for 3-day interstate travel as well as on long overseas trips (passport pocket on the back is absolutly amazing for ease of use and security). It has held up remarkably; looks the same as when i purchased it. It does what it says it does, and it does it extreamly well. The material is still water resistant and holding up well, the zippers are smooth and can be worked with 1 hand, the straps are comfy and still holding up. Can't reccomend this bag enough. Please roark... release it in a few different colours though!!”
“Shoulder straps dont seem to work well for broad shoulders. There's little adjusting that you can do. The chest strap is also short, so I cannot use it (working on replacing it myself). For the money this cost, there are better options if you have broad shoulders.
The bag is slim and can be let out for more space. Wish there was an inside sleeve in the main compartment for books, maps, papers, tablets, etc.
Side pockets for bottles are nice. They can hold a Nalgene.”

“This bag is awesome. Perfect travel companion with it's large opening and no dividers to take up precious real estate inside the bag. The two zippered pockets on the opening flap is a very nice touch.”

“I have a ton of backpacks of various sizes and functional needs. This is the most versatile and best one in the stable now. I've been a big fan of tactical bags bc of the usually excellent organizational structures for EDC gear. But they typically look tactical and I wanted something that would fly more under the radar yet still do a good job on the organizational front. This has well-padded compartment for a laptop in the back, a top panel for sunglasses/EDC, a discrete passport/wallet slot in the back and several webbed pockets in the interior. But the clamshell main compartment is what really makes this bag rock -- easy to access clothes, gear etc. vs. other bags you where you have to dig around. Its small enough for everyday use but I feel like you could pack for a few days and live out of this bag. Excellent, sturdy construction for a mission but sleek enough for the office. This is a very well thought through and constructed item. If you are thinking about buying it, pull the trigger, you won't be disappointed. Well done Roark.”

“I love the bag. The zippers are sturdy and reliable. The fabric is durable enough to handle most travel and hiking situations. One negative side is the buckle for the waistband feels like kind of thin plastic and the buckle was cracked from the weight of the full bag falling on it. Other than that, the bag has been great. And as soon as I can get a new buckle on it, I will be back on the trails with it.”
“This backpack was perfect for a weekend trip to Vegas recently. I was stuck waiting for my hotel to be ready for check in and walked around with this backpack with no back pain! So lightweight and compact.”
