Axeman Jacket - Khaki Khaki / XXL Reviews

Roark prides themselves on being the blend between form and function and this jacket proves that right. It’s beautifully designed and aside from a synthetic fabric goretex rain coat from Arcteryx it’s fantastic as bring water proof. It will wet out eventually because it’s not goretex, it’s twill. But the waxing really works and as long as you keep up at waxing when it’s wearing down the water will keep shedding right off. No joke. I stood in my shower for 10min and the only thing that started to wet out was the seams in the shoulder and the jacket was kinda damp after that. You see pictures of guys riding motorcycles through the wet and muddy countryside in this jacket on their blog and I truly believe it served those guys very well and that’s not just some marketing gimmick. I think the jacket worked well if you asked the guy in then picture his opinion he would say it’s a rad jacket totally kept me dry and looking fly. I got a large and I’m 6’3” slim build and the length was perfect (it’s a longer coat below the butt) and the draw string waist hit perfectly.

Feels great, looks great—it’s my favorite in the closet. Color and material were exactly what I was looking for—a heavier jacket to be worn in the mist, fog, and rain while easily layering underneath. I’m 5’11” 210 and bought the Large. Highly recommended.

This is a great rain jacket. The style and color are very nice. The weight is perfect and the details are well done. A slimmer fit, size up if you want to layer with much underneath

Roark has outdone themselves with this latest collaboration with Halley Stevensons. The jacket runs true to size. The sleeves are a bit narrow, so if you layer your clothes it might be a little tight. The length is more than enough to cover the top of the pants. Overall, great jacket!
