Layover Jacket - Dark Military Reviews

5 Rating 1 Reviews
What was it used for? Casual, Date Night, Out On The Town
Having owned the Layover 2.0, this new iteration shows Roark's upgrades are immediately noticeable - it's significantly more substantial, with enhanced waterproofing that actually works. Tested it out while we had a heavy rain storm and water beads right off. The added back liner addresses a previous weak spot, and the hand pockets have a warming material was a nice surprise. It's thicker and slightly puffier than the 2.0, which makes it more weatherproof/durable but also a bit bulkier and less silent in movement, which is a bit of a downside. While the 2.0 excelled in versatility and comfort for travel, this version prioritizes protection and warmth. Different purpose, different strengths. Quality is top-notch - you can feel the thought that went into making this new version. I'll be traveling a ton over the next few months so time will tell how it performs on extended travels.
