Layover 2.0 Pants - Camo 2 Camo 2 / 28 Reviews

These pants are great! They feel lightweight, yet durable like a strong jogger pant. I can see these being great for hiking, camping, even going out on the town or a casual day at the office. My wife loved them as soon as she saw them, so that was an added bonus.

Pants have evolved at a breakneck speed lately and Roark has gone beyond most currently available designs to bring these feature-packed trousers to the table They fit great! But most Roark gear does, as I've come to expect. The drawstring closure is a brilliant touch ~ there's a little more play to work with than there'd be they used a standard button. Much easier to close and, given the nerve damage in my hands, a real blessing! The perforations on the back panel actually work; pants are surprisingly comfortable on hot summer days Something I really can't live without these days is a dedicated phone pocket - and they've thoughtfully provided one in the back Zippered side pockets have prevented me from losing my stuff more than once. I thought they might be scratchy on my hands but I'm pleasantly surprised to find they're not I've washed them quite a few times and they still look/feel brand new. That's more than I can say for so much of the clothing in this age of 'fast fashion' And on the subject of style, I'd just like to say I never thought I'd be caught dead in camo, but it looks good on me! Turns out it goes with everything too!! I love surprises!!!

About the Pants: Awesome product. Light as air and PERFECT for traveling. Awesome phone pocket. Great mesh back for air flow, but not noticeable or weird. Worried from other reviews that the legs would be tight, but definitely weren't in my case. All in all pants remind me of board shorts even down to the front tie and mesh pockets. Great for traveling, not bulky AT ALL. Highly recommend these pants. Would definitely buy in other colors! Will recommend the women's version to my women traveling friends! About Customer Service: Had a stressful time buying pants during the promotion. Accidentally ordered the wrong pair, freaked out but got an email regarding exchanging/returning. I knew I needed to exchange, but due to it being a small business and Roark wanting to expedite shipping (especially during the holidays), I had to wait for them to arrive before I could make any changes. When they arrived, I learned that because of the promotion, I could neither exchange nor return. I was heartbroken and reallyyyy wanted the pants in the correct size. These pants were all my husband was talking about for months. I was highly disappointed, but JP helped me through it and talked to the right people about my issue. I know this is an exception and am forever to JP and his team. I am now able to exchange the pants and I am over the moon happy! We love this company; Always!

I'm gonna give it to you straight: THESE ARE THE BEST PANTS. I wear these as often as I possibly can. I have gotten compliments on these pants EVERY SINGLE TIME I've worn them. The fit is insanely comfortable, yet it looks stylized and intentional. I know they're meant for travel but I've worn them to work and they worked great for that as well! They're breathable without being too drafty, the pockets have plenty of space, and the material is durable enough to stand up to my work day (I make guitars and work with tools and wood all day). My main worries when watching reviews online were two things: the waistline and the material. I was worried the material would feel sort of windbreaker-y and synthetic but to put it simply- they feel like pants. Which may sound plain but I was so stoked, sometimes these "comfortable" style pants are made out of weird synthetic stuff that drags on dry skin and is generally uncomfortable on any amount of leg hair. The tie waistband was also a big question for me but after trying it, I'm sold on it. Its easy, and doesn't slip like gym short ties tend to. The rope feel like it's good quality and not like it's about to rip with every pull. And it's great for the times where I eat a lot of bread and want to leave a little slack in the waist. Trust me, it's a great addition to these pants. Overall, I want to own 10 pairs of these. If I had to wear these every day for the rest of my life than that would be an amazing life, I love these pants and if you don't buy them you're cheating yourself out of happiness and joy. Why would you do that to yourself? Buy the pants!

First purchase. Won’t be my last. However, wish they sold 28 length. Had to take it to get the seamstress.
