“Love all the pockets and weight of the pants, breathable and versatile. Waist is a bit big, wish I could use a belt with. I returned a size down because too small. The fabric pilled in one section after one weekend of use”
“The pants are comfy, but there are no belt loops and the draw string doesn’t allow you to tighten them very much. I have a wallet that Would make George Costanza Proud, but it weighs the pants down and I constantly have to pull them up. It’s rather annoying. I suggest ordering a size down.”
“These pants just arrived, so these are mostly first impressions. Me: 5-foot-9 and 199 now that I have about 10 pounds of extra quarantine weight, and I normally wear jeans in a 35 waist. I ordered the khaki Layover Stretch Travel Pants in a 34 waist. I like the fit. I knew I'd be rolling the legs, so the length is fine. If you aren't skipping leg day, you might find them a little tight in the thighs, but most guys should be fine.
The waist is one of the surprises. The description says they have a draw string, but you lace the string through two eyelets on either side above the fly, and use that to pull the top together. In theory, these should be a bit tight for me in the waist, especially since they ride higher than jeans and sit more on the belly than below it. But I"m able to keep the lacing a bit loose, and since I wouldn't tuck a shirt into these anyway, nobody can tell. On the other hand, if I was thinner and had a totally flat stomach and usually wore a 32-inch waist, I don't think the lacing on the drawstring will allow you to cinch them up tighter. There seems to be a limit to how tight you can get them.
For me, the other surprise is the material. It looks nice, not shiny like some blends and there might be jobs where you could get away with wearing them as "Khakis." The knee gusset gives them a more casual look, though. The amount of stretch is nice and adds to the comfort. I did, in fact, buy these to travel in, and they should fill that role perfectly. I can see me wearing these at home and running errands, too.”
“Got 2 more pairs (blue & black) for my husband - he LOVES his camo ones! Despite being the SAME size as his first pair, they are way too small and have to be returned. One pair was also mislabeled and a size smaller. Frustrating!”
“I bought 2 pairs of the layover shorts. After 1 wash the Nodules on the end of the draw string came off and the string frayed badly. No way they can be fixed.”
“These pants are fire!! First of all, they fit perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. On top of this, the zip pockets on both sides are amazing. I can tell you how many times I've felt the need to keep checking my pockets to see if my stuff is still there with other pants. With these, however, I am 100% sure that nothing is falling out! Good f*cking job whoever designed these bad boys.”
