“I'm super-picky on my trail shorts, and these are easily some of the best shorts ever made. The fit is perfect, the liner is exta-comfy and so far hasn't caused any chafing - and I doubt it ever will. The cell phone pocket on left thigh is perfect placement for easy access and virtually no wiggling or annoyances while running. The zippered pockets on either hip are ideal for securing keys, cards and smaller gels and chews. The front packets have soft magnets to keep them closed and flat, but still allow easy access and extra storage for larger items when not running.
My only (minor) gripe is that I wish they could have included some smaller stash pockets in the rear. Would be even better if there was a little more storage for other essentails during longer runs, but I can still highly recommend them for novices to more-experienced hikers and trail runners.”
