“I love these jeans. The fabric is fantastic, the brass accents are beautiful, and the looser, flowier fit just feels great to wear. Also, a very nice bonus is that the front pockets are reasonably sized and I can fit my phone and my wallet into one front pocket and still have some space for some pens or something. As for the fit, I find it somewhat similar to the 395s but a bit baggier. Similar to the HWY 395 Kaihara jeans, I've found that the lack of stretch has led to pants that have a slightly narrower waist, and rely more on having a good fit to stay up, and wow do these fit well. That said, I could see people wanting to size up. I'm a size 27 for both the HWY 1, and HWY 395s, and I've found the 395s to be a bit looser around the waist. If the 395s are on the tighter side around the waist for you, size up. That said, these fit me perfectly, although they get a bit tight after a big meal. Also, Roark customer service is fantastic. I'm on the taller side, so I wanted to know the inseam of these jeans, and the customer service person contacted the product design team, and answered my question pretty quickly (all of the HWY 1 jeans are 30" inseam).”
