“Tried M and S, sent back both sadly. I’m a M according to sz chart, 29 waist 40 hip, but was swimming in the M. Despite being described as mid rise, these were in fact very high rise, about 12” in front on the S, with lots of extra bagginess in the crotch yet they somehow felt kinda tight across the bum (and made my rear look a little flat). I really wish they’d been lower in the front rise with a little more room in the rear, wanted to make them work and even considered taking them to a tailor to see if the rise could be lowered some because I really liked the fabric, pockets, belt and loosely cinched bottoms. They’d be cute enough for just chilling at camp if wearing them down around my hips “drop crotch” style, but for any real walking around that’s just asking for thigh chafing. Tried pulling them enough to walk around, but to me it looked incredibly frumpy with a big old pooch in front and a flat bum… I’m super bummed because I really really wanted these to become my do all camp/hike pants, and was all set to buy a second pair to rotate had they turned out to be the dream pants I’d hoped they’d be. :( :( :(”
