“Is a lovely bed, however putting it together I realised several insert nuts were missing and had a nightmare trying to find replacements in hardware stores near by.”

“We went with Room to Grow instead of cheaper furniture companies because we wanted good quality product and service. We were so disappointed. We ordered just before Christmas so we expected the delivery to take a while but when we finally got it, there were no instructions at all. Also, we had a small box of fixtures such as screws and bolts. There were nowhere near the amount that was needed to put up the bed.
We finally got some instructions for a similar bed that my sister had bought from Room To Grow previously so we used them as a guide.
We had to take the screws and fixtures to a local hardware shop who helped us to get the correct ones we needed.
We couldn't wait for the company to correct it. Their speed of reply to enquiries is painfully slow and we had no time to wait for them to send replacements as we needed the beds up immediately.
All in all, really poor experience. Won't be purchasing from this company again.”

“The quality of the bed structure is really poor - with so many parts its not sturdy the way it is meant to be set up. We had to screw in extra screws, add glue and extra wood to make it more secure. The existing holes couldn?t take the supplied screws and in some areas the wood has cracked. There are so many holes in the product pieces and not all are required - which means any holes that are not necessary have a white cap, but this doesn?t match the bed off white colour. The screws were not long enough. The steps don?t feel secure and the lower bed doesn?t sit close to the bed frame - leaving a gap where the teddies fall down and quite frankly annoying. the girls however do like they?re new bed - but I?m constantly fearful it could break easily.”
Thank you for taking time to leave a response, it is really important to us. You should not require any extra screws or glue in the assembly of the bed if constructed correctly. The lower bed is freestanding so you can position either side depending on the ladder position or use the bed separately but I certainly take your point on the teddies! The steps should be solid and sturdy, please send pictures to support@roomtogrow.co.uk and our product specialists will investigate as you should have no concerns with the structure of your bed. We are so sorry there were some fixings missing from your bed. We have no evidence of you contacting us as we would have been able to send these out next day. We will be taking up this issue with the factory as this should not happen.
