1. There are many marks and blemishes where the grey has been scratched away (within the first week) 2. Took well over the 6 hours the instructions suggested to assemble as I did not find the instructions clear (there were 3 sets, depending on what you were building ie 2 singles with 2 variations or a bunk)

The quality is excellent, we are very pleased we went for this. It is a very sturdy furniture with great finishing. The instruction is a bit confusing when building the bunk as it came In 3 different packages - 2 singles and an extension. You have to open the ‘extension‘ package to get the correct instruction for building a bunk as we did the mistake of opening one of the single bed and started building that first, but luckily we realised quickly and reversed the steps to continue with bunk configuration. It is also very heavy to lift the upper bunk into place with 2 person (my husband and I) and we had to remove the slates in order to lift it up. But this only means the bed is very solid. We can see it lasting a very long time.
