I don't feel like it is very sturdy and wouldn't want to use it for a child much older than 8 years old. We have 3 bunk beds in our house and this is by far the weakest. I have yet to build the small double to go underneath. I didn't feel like flair who make the bed were particularly helpful with my delivery problems either.”
