“An attractive, solid piece of furniture. My only criticism is that the top of the bookcase (which is not visible when I’m standing on the floor) looks unfinished. It would benefit from having a flat piece of timber fitted.”

“Very nice and well made. Well packaged, however, ours arrived with one of the white plastic brackets and two screws were missing from the packet. E mailed Roseland, and their warehouse are putting replacements in the post, very good customer service. Once the missing bits arrive and we can attach it to the wall, it will look perfect.”

“The Newlyn Oak Narrow Bookcase is generally OK but it is obvious where it has been made to a price, notably the top of the bookcase is not solid and doesn't have a flat face, presumably because it cannot be seen due to it's height. My bookcase, however, arrived damaged, with wood being split by screws and one piece broken off. There was also a screw missing, but the wood underneath was split. To me it was obvious that the damage had occurred during manufacture and not in transit. However the bookcase sits perfectly in the small space that I had and so Roseland (who dealt with this admirably) offered me a partial refund on the basis that I could repair the damage myself.”
