“Slightly disappointed that the back and internal drawers parts are not of the same oak finish that you see in the picture. The price was fair but am still a bit miffed about the finish. It would have been better if that was said in the description.”

“We wanted the shoe rack to install in the hallway as the existing one we had was from ikea which was more than 15 year old. Mrs. found this unit on Roseland Website and after getting all the measurements right we ordered this. Initially when we saw the unit we weren't that impressed with the feel of the wood. The wood felt very raw and looked very cheaply. The underneath side on one of the leg had chipped off, that is how it was built and wan't freshly chipped. Then my Mrs suggested on using the furniture wax polish which we apply on all our oak furniture annually. Once I gave a nice coat it shinned and the feel was vey very smooth and it simple matched with all our oak furniture in the house. The wood litterally changed, I wish I had taken a before and after polish. I would have given the product 5 star rating had this unit was nicely polished but sadly I had to take away 2 star aware from "very good" to "acceptable". Here is the link to the was polish we used.
