“Thin oak veneers and very cheap, thin wood drawer bottoms. Drawers are a poor fit, gapping at the sides. Handles were not in protective covers, were tarnished and with coating bubbling up. I got the impression that this piece might have been on display prior to despatch or had been returned as unsuitable by a previous purchaser.”

“I purchased 2 London Oak bedside cabinets and am very happy with them except for one thing and that is the back. I have painted mine with an oak varnish as the plain plywood made them look cheap. I would suggest that even if you continue using plywood it should be painted to match the rest of the cabinet.”
