“This bookcase looks lovely and complements the telephone table bought at the same time. Particularly like the rounded corners on the upper surfaces on this style. I would have scored it 5 stars for the overall appearance but have reduced to three for the following points: the back of the bookcase is rather cheap and thin wood, simply stapled on (and it arrived with several of the staples detached which needed to be hammered gently back into place. This was a quick fix.) The position we have placed the bookcase means that it's full up and we don't really see any of the inside of the bookcase anyway, so this is a minor point in our situation. The second point (that i hadn't noticed when ordering) is that the height of the shelving is fairly short therefore it only takes standard paperback size books standing upright. It's entirely fine if you wish to store larger books or other items but they only fit when laying on their back. Overall a lovely looking bookcase which fitted a smallish space and did the job for us.”
