“I was quite disappointed by the quality of the "solid wood" of this chest of drawers. Overall they are acceptable, but I obviously didn't read the description correctly. I thought I was getting solid oak, but having re-read, it's a combination of oak veneer on the outside, and solid pine and ply on the internals of the drawers, which makes them feel very cheap. Also there are gaps between some of the drawers and the frame which are far too large and just make it look unfinished. I knew the handles were not going to be exactly what we wanted (they are polished but we would have preferred brushed), however, we were not prepared for them having such short screws to fix them, making it quite difficult to get a good fit. We even had to locate some longer screws to get some of the handles to stay. I don't know whether we have an exception, as I read most of the reviews saying other customers (except 1) were happy. Packaging, Delivery time and updates were OK. I paid extra for a 2 man delivery, the package actually stated that a 2 man delivery was required so I'm confused why it was an option rather than mandatory and chargeable, but it was much lighter than we had expected and as they didn't unpack it and check it, we could have carried it up the stairs for less money, which was all they did. Lesson learned - I thought it was a good deal for the money. Next time I will look for read the description properly and consider paying more for better quality”

“Disappointed at thin oak veneer and thin,cheap wooden drawer bottoms. Poor fit on some handles, not aligned with drilled holes. Poor fit for some drawers.”

“I am happy with this product (chest of drawers) and the delivery turnaround. The internal material is flimsy (inside the drawers), making the chest of drawers quite light when empty, however that is reflected in the price. Under no circumstances would the delivery driver help me to carry the product up a small flight of stairs so need to plan ahead with this.”

“A well built chest of drawers with a very nice look --drawer bottoms could be nicer wood but are not seen as covered with clothes. Delivery was as advertised and the courier gave us detailed timing on the morning of delivery which was very helpful. The packaging was very good and thick and it arrived undamaged. Would buy from them again.”
