“AEV sells good products. Not the first to come out with a lift kit for the new JLU's, but they seem to test what they design before selling there products. Put this on a 2020 JLU and got more then 2.5" lift (Closer to 3.25) but I am not running heavy steel bumpers. Put there 3.5 " lift on my 2012 JK 2 Dr Rubicon 8 years ago and have not had any problems with it, other then the 2 front shocks (Bilstiens) leaking. Is why I stayed with the AEV lift for the newer Jeep. Was told I would not need a front "track bar", but to get the front axle centered for the rear to track the front properly one is needed. Just my opinion from installing this myself. It was tracking 1/2 inch to the drivers side. The installation instruction also mention crossing over the two upper control arms "if" doing "rock crawling to avoid contact with driveshaft flange. Did it anyway to avoid this possible issue. A few other little things need to be addressed if installing kit yourself. Brake lines and electrical lines to the axles if you have a Rubicon.”
“Install was relatively easy, instructions were very well
written, good pics.
Lift/raise was more than advertised, more than I needed.
Suspension works well on and off-road, I would describe
it as sporty, firm but not rough. I have 400 miles on the suspension
and the JL has settled a small amount and the shocks have
softened a little.
Overall I'm happy with AEV kit, just wish it was a true 2.5"
kit.”
