“I ordered my 3y/o daughter two RuffleButts swim suits—the short sleeve in purple and long sleeve in turquoise. The size 3 fit perfect (she is around 35 lbs). The suits are well made. She had wore them a few times over the summer to the pool. We have just ended a 10 day vacation at the beach where she wore these every day in the sand and salt water, and I machine washed them on gentle every evening. Both suits still look brand new. They also protect from the sun well. She is a very fair skinned red-head and I did not apply sunscreen under the suits. The rays did not penetrate. I will definitely be purchasing new ones for her next summer. She has Down syndrome and this is the first beach trip since she has been able to walk independently. I loved seeing her walk in front of me with the ruffles on her backside.”
