This pattern immediately reminds you of William Morris designs, it is different from many of the usual High Street designs being both stylish, but subtle in it's colouring. The carpet is a nice tight weave of wool, and does not shed as much as other makes in that new phase when all wool rugs lose fibre. The price I paid makes this a very competitive rug compared to others on the market. I have purchased other wool rugs, but this much thicker and you can immediately tell it is better quality. The most telling thing was when my 3 year old grandson walked in and exclaimed "I like your rug Grandma", young eyes do not deceive.
