“I love Ecopak, and have several Evergoods backpacks in the textile. It is sturdy, reliable, water-proof, and it just... is nice to touch and is easy on the eyes. For me, the ruggedness is very important, if I am taking this pouch on a hike etc.
So far it has performed really well, either as a toiletries kit (yes, it sounds weird, but it's actually really useful for that purpose!) or as a medicines/tech kit. I mean, generally, I love CAP2s, I find them so useful, but having one in Ecopak has been a game changer.
The coyote colour is really nice, but I might get a second in black. It's a shame that the blue is so bright, a nice navy would've been perfect. Overall, would 100% recommend this pouch to anyone who either has a CAP2 and wants an upgrade, or to anyone who is looking for a really good quality pouch that is so versatile.
And finally - it sits up so nicely, on its own, when placed on a stable surface and opened. Tricky to explain, but the two "halves" of the pouch allow it to stand upright, which in turn improves visibility and makes it a breeze to get out whatever it may be that you need. The same goes for the top zipper which allows access to the mesh compartment of the interior (super handy).”
