“After a recent overseas trip with 2 kids under 5 - I realised it was time to invest in a backpack to replace the plethora of tote/shoulder bags lugging around "kids necessities" amongst other accessories needed at hand.
After some research, and admittedly realising the true cost of buying competitor options being based in Aus I landed at the CTB26. Currently overseas again and am very impressed with this bag which has not only replaced all the extra carry bags (separately to check in suitcases) but also got the tick of approval from the wife and justified the cost of same.
Perfect travel / edc / dadbag that honestly seems to fit much more than specs. I did hear feedback of "bottom of bag digging into lowerback" but after a week of daily use and fully packed no complaints my end. Very comfortable and excellent solid build. Stuffed to the seams and bag zipped up without any resistance or cause of concern of failure.

“C'mon guys, this is Evergoods. This is an excellent bag - it is so versatile. Be it the copious amounts of pockets that will prevent you from losing things, be it the incredible YKK zippers, be it the separate laptop compartment, be it that you can get 2x 8L packing cubes into the main compartment with room to spare... and it is so durable. The quality of the bag, as always with Evergoods, is palpable.
The only time I would be hesitant to recommend this bag to anyone is if they have a smaller frame, and they find it too big, As it is quite a large bag. But overall, I think the vast majority of people would like this bag - it is just so perfect in every way.
Comfortable to carry, even in 38 degree heat (the new back panel works great), the harness is very good, the side water/utility pockets are so handy (I have a CAP1 shoved into one). I've used the bag for one-bag travel, no issues at all, and I've used it as a carry-on bag many times, including on smaller planes, no issues at all. And the laptop compartment.... it makes security at the airport a breeze. Just chuck the bag on its side, zip it open and BAM there's the laptop, right there.
I'll leave it there - I love this bag, and I own a PLC20 and a CPL24 as well, but the CTB26 will always remain my number one bag. It's worth mentioning that I'm 6'2", so that makes it a little easier for me to use this as EDC. But the bag isn't ridiculously massive, so don't stress too much about that part. And Rushfaster has such a good returns policy. I would say - just go for it.”
