“It will take time to get use to it, Probably not the best for gaming, Although I use it a lot when I play. But for everyday computer use, it has made a huge difference to the point that I even take it to work to use.”
“It actually works as I hoped it would. I normally done use anything but a desk mat, and after seeing the Carpio so many times online I thought I'd finally try it since it's sold by Rushfaster in Australia now. It tooks a day or two to get used to. I actually thought I hated it for the first couple hours but now I cant use a mouse without it.”
“The Carpio 2.0 is hands down the best ergo product i've ever bought. It immediately relieved pain and soreness that i've had in my arm for years. I get my arm regularly (every 2-4weeks) treated by a physio & chiro but now I don't need to anywhere near as much. This is literally saving me money. I'm buying one for the other hand now!”
“You definitely need to get used to this - and I gave up on V1 as the pads came out during normal use.
This V2 model hasn't had that problem yet and feels smoother to use. I'd recommend it but there is a learning curve for sure.”
“Overall speaking, I am happy with my purchase. However, I have some tips for those who plan to buy both left and right version for keyboard wrist rest.
I have brought both left and right hands together.
First, as only for the right hand, it is excellent and really comfortable if you put your palm on the proper position. Also, when moving the mouse, the Carpio moves very smoothly on the my desk. The smoothness is way better than I expected before using it. Nonetheless, it should be noted that I currently don't have a mat on the desk, so I am not sure if it moves as smoothly as I using it directly.
Second, as for a pair of both left and right with the hope of using them as wrist rest for keyboards. I found they are not as good as I thought. While they move smoothly and comfortable, sometimes when I need to press a key far away from my hand position, I have to move out of the Carpio and hence, it is a bit difficult to put my hand back to it properly. This is a bit annoying. I am not sure if this experience could be improved when I get used to them for a bit longer time. People who plan to buy a pair may want to note this.
Nonetheless, I am still happy with the pair because I found that I can rest my left hand on it when I just use the mouse, e.g. browsing web pages. The feeling is very good, though I am not sure whether this justifies the purchase of the left hand version for others.
To summarise, if you want to buy just one for mouse using, I would definitely recommend it. If you would like to buy a pair, you may consider my experience to decide. Overall, I am happy with the pair but they seem not as good as I thought for typing, except this, they are very comfortable for resting your both hands.
Hope this review helps.”
“This seems to only really be for gamers that leave their hand on their mouse for very long periods. It takes a while every time you put your hand on it to get comfortable. So, if you plan on taking your hand off the mouse to type on your keyboard any more than once every 15 mins, then don’t bother with this.”
Thanks for the review... The product does take a little getting use to (they even have a little message that ships with the carpio to explain). But the idea is you don't take your hand off the carpio when you start to type, you slide between the mouse and the keyboard.
