Aer City Sling 2 Gray Reviews

4.8 Rating 5 Reviews
I had been looking for a daily sling to help me carry around the bare necessities (phone, wallet, keys) along with a few other personal items. I didn't want anything that was too big or bulky, or particularly loud or obvious with the branding which, in my opinion, can appear tacky. The Aer City Sling 2 is well made with material that feels very sturdy and durable, giving it a somewhat rugged vibe, while maintaining a certain sleekness to its minimalist aesthetic that I find very appealing. At 2.5L it affords enough room to fit what I need for the day including a Kindle Paperwhite at times and I do appreciate the organisation involved in the main compartment. The bag itself sits reasonably flush against the body after adjusting the strap to a suitable length and is comfortable to wear for short to extended periods of time. I think my main criticism is the single zipper for the front compartment which isn't an issue per se but can become a little problematic depending on how you wear the bag. Specifically, when you're wearing it over your left shoulder and you need to swing it around to access this compartment. You need to be careful when unzipping it to ensure its contents do not fall out. Generally with cross body bags, I tend to sling over my left shoulder out of habit but overall it wasn't a deal breaker personally as I use the other shoulder instead for this particular bag. All in all, the Aer City Sling 2 has done well in meeting my particular needs. I did stumble into some trouble initially deciding whether I wanted it in Cordura or X-Pac but ultimately chose the former due to personal tastes. #noragrets P.S. Big shout to Kez who is an absolute star and impressed me with their level of commitment to providing excellent customer service that was not only prompt but also efficient. Thanks for looking after me!

Really good sling with lots of pockets for organisation. One minor criticism is the aquaguard zipper on the front has a lot of friction, which makes keys difficult to access

I was generally happy with the sling. The upgraded features such as the rear pocket zipper pull, the better key holder, the ‘garage’ for the waterproof front zip and the shorter other zipper pulls were very nice. The metal tensioners are nice but don’t work as they should as they work themselves loose very quickly. Overall very nice but still not big enough. If this sling were big enough to also hold a book or an iPad mini it would be ideal. At the moment it’s holding everything I had in my Day Sling 2.0 except I had to leave out my passport size Travellers Notebook.
