SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. “This is a very good set up to watch for seizures. It probably provides more false positives than I would like but at least I have the comfort of knowing I can just Quick Look at turn off the alarm. I like that the app doesn’t time out and I have to keep turning it back on. If you get this thinking you can add this to your current tablet I would suggest against that. The program is huge and basically takes the rest of the space on the tablet so additional apps would not function unless they are very small. The recording feature is nice too so you can go back and see previous movements and capture those if you have questions. Speaking of apps, I was able to load the Blink app so I can see other cameras around my house and I do watch my child through those periodically when he is in rooms without the monitor but they are not as good as capturing movement like the Sami”

“Life would be so much different without the Sami 3 Alert system. This has given us some peace of mind when our child is sleeping and allows us to get some much-needed rest ourselves. The ability to leave the room has provided us the freedom to help take care of many things that have been neglected since our journey started.
