SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. “The Sami provides us some peace of mind at night. I wish that you could turn off the iPad light because it gets bright at night but I put something over it to cover the light instead.”

Hi Stacia! You can use the clock mode to hide the live view and then dim the screen so it's essentially black. It will still open to the live feed if you touch the screen or an alarm goes off! Just click on the clock button in the bottom left of the live view screen and then slide your finger across the screen to the left to dim the brightness! Hope this helps :)

“The Sami Kit has made sleep a thing again for our home! Our daughters seizures aren't always very big or loud and this monitor was able to actually catch a nighttime seizure that consisted of mostly small face twitches and hand shaking and alarm to it! It's been very reliable at alarming to each event so far and really has been a saving grace for our peace of mind. Installation was quick and easy. You can adjust the sensitivity and record time so that it's tailored to your specific needs. Would definitely recommend this to anyone considering it!”

“I absolutely love this kit! It has helped so much sense having it with our daughter who has epilepsy. We've been able to spot her episodes not long after they start. It is also very easy to set up and set the stats that work the best for you.”

“My son was born with a rare genetic condition called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) which are benign tumors that grow on vital organs in the body. He has these tumors currently in his heart and brain. The ones on his brain cause seizures. I did so much research on devices that could detect seizures while sleeping. We ultimately chose the SAMi and we could not be any more happy with our decision! The SAMi has given us so much peace of mind and I am able to get a decent nights sleep! Our little guy is 14 months old now.”

“Our son has a rare genetic disorder that also involves epilepsy. He was put on oxygen overnight at the beginning of this year. This scared us because the only way we knew how to catch a seizure overnight was by an oxygen drop which would set off an alarm on his Owlet. When we found the SAMi 3 kit, we were beyond thankful! It alerts us throughout the night of unusual movements that are in seizure territory. This whole kit even came with it's own 5G network so we aren't relying on our internet connection at home. We can't say enough great things about this kit. We can sleep a little better now knowing that our 3 year old son is being monitored throughout the night. Thank you so much!”
