“The design is nice but the towels don't dry well.
It takes about three times drying to be able to be relatively dry, but even then it'll take some air drying. I would guess this is due to the thinness of the towels. It's a shame because the towels are pretty and I was excited to try them out but I think it's a pretty big drawback. Also, as someone with very long hair it's particularly a large struggle because I cannot dry my hair to any extent with the towels. The towels barely dry my skin, as mentioned, so my hair is a goner. I have to keep using my boyfriend's towel. I've been giving the towels a go for 30 days now just to see if I could get used to it/change my mind.. But it's a hard sell. Drying of your body is one thing, but if you have long hair I would just caution against the towel unless you have an alternative unfortunately.”
“My sister-in-law had given me a Sand Cloud beach towel a few years ago that I love, so I was excited when I saw an ad for these new bath towels. These towels have such pretty colors and I love the design and that part of the proceeds benefit marine conservation. But they are also just really nice towels! They are thinner than most normal towels, but really soft (and they're getting softer with each wash) and they dry really quickly too, which is nice since our bathroom is a bit small and doesn't have a ton of air circulation throughout the day to help dry them otherwise.”
“This set was much thinner and less plush than the previous bath bundles we've purchased. We loved our previous ones so much, we wanted to ensure we never ran out, but I am a bit disappointed with this set.”
“I so desperately want to give these 5 stars because I love them and they are so soft and cute! BUT, I have had them for months and washed them SO many times, and I’m STILL covered in blue lint every time I try to use it after a shower and I hate that. I have to rinse off and use a different towel and then I wash them again and it just isn’t ever enough.”
“I ordered the Whale Shark Bath Bundle in Sage during the Christmas sales. When they arrived, I absolutely loved them. They were super soft and did a great job drying me off after a shower. However, after two washes (per the instructions on the tag) the towels began to fray and had loose strings on them. I was heartbroken since I loved these towels so much. I contacted customer service and they were quick to offer me a refund/exchange for a different set of towels. The whale shark bundle was out of stock so I ended up ordering a different set. I'm not sure if all of the Whale Shark towels will eventually do this, it might have been a fluke in my specific set. Regardless, Sand Cloud's customer service was exceptional and they left me a happy customer. I will definitely be ordering from them again.”
