“Very impressed with the quality of this meter, especially for the price. Very well made, seems very accurate, and has a lot of nice features, like gold plated leads, lead holders, very nice, comfortable to grip case. Nice pliable lead/cords.
Some of the things I found a little bit disappointing...the backlight is quite weak, and seems to be some sort of small incandescent bulbs. BUT, the biggest let down, was that it is not Made in Japan. Partly my fault, for not doing my research, but I kind of assumed that given the brand, it would be Japanese made. However, I am still very impressed with the build quality, and possibly the unit is made from Japanese parts, assembled in China.
Overall, a great buy. Very happy, and I'm sure Japanese or not, it will last a long time, and give me great service!”
