“I've had my ScanPan for about 6 years and I've gone through 3 replacement lid knobs. I don't use these roughly and I don't put the lid through the dishwasher. A quality products should last longer. When I ask ScanPan for a replacement, ScanPan always gives me the excuse that "lids are an accessory and not covered by warranty". I have to pay for the replacement lib knob, plus just as much for shipping. I love everything else about my ScanPan products but little annoynances like this just ruin the image of ScanPan for me.”
“The Lid Knob fit my lid well and is very functional - Thank you! However, the shipping for the Knob was more than the product itself. I suspect better methods for shipping smaller items can be deployed, since the item came in a very large box with lots of padding room.”
“Well, asking for a replacement lid knob after one breaks (dropped on a ceramic floor) was easy to do. The replacement came and was easy to put on. My only criticism was that this tiny piece cost me about $20 in shipping. I was shocked, but had no choice. The cost of the item was not too bad, but paled in comparison to the shipping. I think Scanpan might be able to do a better job for that, and will be much more careful with my lids in the future!”
