“This pan is my go to for searing anything! It is just a wonder how with the Stratanium+, searing without any oil or butter, is possible. I did about 2 years of research to find the perfect pots and pans to replace my 30+ year old set. I had certain pre-requisites. Not made in China, pans must have searing capabilities, good non-stick pots with lids and could be used in the oven. I actually purchased the HAPTIQ 5.25 QT Covered Chef Pan almost 2 years ago to test the quality. “I have two smaller fry pans from ScanPan and love them, so I ventured toward a larger size to accommodate more pieces of meat (pick one!) and poultry. I like to sear steaks, so this pan will hold several nice-sized filets, but I'm also a fan of omelets - no problem!
