“The pan itself isn’t the issue- it’s the relationship between pan and induction cooktop. First of all, how is it that you are out of the cooktop protection pads? Secondly, this is my second set of ScanPans. My first set has lasted 10years and look pretty dang good despite my carefully nesting them in storage drawer and them slightly cupping after all these years. The coating inside the pan shows scratches from silicone utensils but it’s not flaking so they are still useable. I never used the protectors between the pan and cooktop so as my pans aged, so did the greasy build up on the bottom of the pan. So to offer a ‘short review’, I’d like to say that for my NEW COOKWARE I’ve bought a cookie oven liner and cut it to fit so I don’t scratch my cooktop and I’m more easily able to keep the pan bottoms clean. You’d get 5 stars if you had sent the cooktop protectors with the pans… Bosch didn’t have them on their website either..but getting in touch with Bosch requires a ton of luck, a unicorn and probably a miracle.”
