“I have owned a Ortlieb handlebar bag and used the mount before. For some reason they seem to have changed the cable that is used to fitting the block to the handlebar. It arrived with a gray thick cable that besides being really cumbersome to cut is also a nightmare to thread though the mount. I followed instructions but the cable thickness and the fact that cutting it means it frays at the tip made it impossible for me to fit it properly. I contacted Ortlieb about it and they seem to be aware of the problem so I guess I wasn't the first one. They promised a replacement with a thinner black cable ( I used to have these in the past.... ) which are much easier to fit.”
