Did you know that the Atlantic along the Algarve is home to wild dolphins? You can go and observe them closely on our boat tour with dolphin watching Lagos.
“This tour is like 2x1 speed boat and dolphin watching. It was such a magical experience!!! We were so lucky to find a bunch of dolphins and we saw them jumping from the water, the tour was made in a speedboat, it’s like to be in a rollercoaster but in the sea, so if you in the adrenaline mode you’ll love this tour!”
“My daughter and I went on the trip which we thoroughly enjoyed. There were 2 things that occurred which we felt unhappy with. We had the time of the trip changed which was disappointing as we wanted to go early morning to give us more time to spend with our family at our beautiful villa rental. In addition to this we both have restricted mobility and we're not allowed to sit out with the back 2 rows of seats. Whilst children were allowed on to sit close to or at the front. This obscured our vision as we're both under 5 feet tall.We felt it was discriminatory against people with disabilities.
Despite the issues I raised we had a fantastic time one of the crew was able to point out specific dolphins to us., a 3 day old baby dolphin, a pregnant dolphin and an older dolphin with scarring. We could see the dolphins at the side of the boat once we got closer but were unable to see them as they emerged as people in front of us enjoyed a quicker and better view. We did really enjoy the trip but feel that the policy regarding people less able needs to be reviewed. We know our limitations and would not place ourselves at any risk.
As I said it was a great trip where we saw around 9 dolphins. The sun was shining the excitement of those around us and the member of the crew who kindly took time to point out different dolphins all made the trip worthwhile. We both left happy with our overall experience.”
“I did the tour with my friend in summer 2019 and it was such a magical experience! The boat is suuuuper fast and we found a HUGE pod of dolphins, it must've been around 30-50 dolphins! They were all around the boat, it was really special. The crew on board was also very nice and on our way back they went super fast, it was like riding a rollercoaster. Definitely heaps of fun :)”
