“I wasn’t impressed with the colour. I was expecting a rich aubergine and ended up with more of a faded bluey purple. Too be honest I thought that I had just chosen the wrong colour until I got round to putting the aubergine valance on the bed. I purchased this at the same time as the duvet. The valance is about 4 shades darker than the duvet and is the colour I was expecting. The duvet cover in comparison looks like it’s been through a year worth of washing. Had I realised this at the time I would have returned the mismatched bedding. An expensive mistake I won’t be making again. That said the linen was beautifully packaged and arrived quickly.”
