“Linen comes with a recommendation to wash prior to using, and to dry naturally as much as possible (open air is probably ideal), and washing certainly makes a difference, although it's normally a gradual process of improvement. It's a heavier fabric than cotton but seems to do a good job of keeping warm nights at bay despite the weight. The duvet cover is warmer than a cotton one would be, but it has a lovely weighted feel, if you like that kind of thing. You really feel "tucked in", and I expect when winter comes around we may be getting another linen set to keep nippy nights at bay (but then we like open windows, even in winter). The colours on the website are spot-on.”
