“First order is a tiny bit disappointing.. the seersucker weave is only on one one side of the duvet cover. The waffle effect next to your skin of the duvet cover is what makes this type of fabric so cool in hot temps and so warm in colder ones. (An old seersucker cover from a different retailer was fabulous for this - just a shame it finally wore out!) But the worst thing about the new one from Secret Linen is that the cotton is a bit hairy and rough - as when poorer cotton bolls produce short fibres whose ends stick out of the thread. The glowing descriptions on the website about the quality of the fabrics were what led me to buy. I just hope that repeated launderings will improve the feel. I don't know why so many other reviewers praise the quality - confused!”

“I love this cover so much I bought a second. Lovely and crisp percale but the seersucker makes it airy and light. I find it really hard to get out of bed when this cover is on the duvet!”
