For many, many moons we have been dreaming of a 100% cotton mattress protector - no man-made fillings, plastic wadding or polyester backs, just lovely, comfy, breathable cotton. Finally, our wish has come true.
Mattresses are a long-term investment, so using a mattress protector helps keep yours in peak condition, protecting it from spills, stains and general wear and tear, while also providing an additional layer of soft, moisture-wicking comfort for you to snooze upon.
This protector is made with a 180 thread count top (140 thread count on the skirt and base), filled with 100% cotton wadding and is easily secured in place by a fitted skirt, suitable for a mattress depth of 36cm (in line with our fitted sheets). It's a breeze to clean too, simply pop your protector in the machine at 40 and ta-dah, good as new!
Available in a choice of four sizes, Single, Double, King and Super King, however, we're sorry to say we can’t make special or euro sizes in our Comfy Cotton collection (yet!).

“See above. I chose the cotton mattress protector as i prefer natural fabrics. The quality is fine but I did not realise how heavy it would be, especially when wet. I washed it when it arrived to deal with the initial shrinkage and it nearly destroyed my washing machine. The machine could not spin it because of the weight and wringing it by hand was also near impossible. I eventually got it dried but this is not a practical cover for me in the longterm. It was also still a bit too large for my mattress even after washing, Probably should have gone for the polyester one but will in any case have to find an alternative.”

Our Comfy Cotton Mattress Protector will have 100% cotton wadding to help protect your mattress, so will be heavier in comparison to our Safe and Sound, which will feel lighter as this is a polyester mix.
