Our lightweight towels are a little different to what you're used to. Woven just for us in Portugal, we've created a towel that is super absorbent, fast drying and lovely and lightweight. Our striped towels are smaller than a traditional heavy towel, so are perfect for busy households, where towels are always damp, they're perfect for popping in your bag, for heading to the beach and if you're living in a small space too (light towels take up a fraction of the space in your linen cupboard).
We love these towels because as well as looking great, these towels will help do great things for our precious planet. When we pop a wash on every other day (a chunky towel might have to go in just one at time!) we use 440kg of CO2e per year, this is the same amount of energy as a return flight from London to Glasgow! So lighter towels mean less washing, reducing the amount of energy your house uses and reducing your carbon footprint. Isn't that great?
Made from 100% cotton with traditional 360gsm terry toweling on one side, a cotton striped pattern on the other, and finished with simple white tassels on each end. Dyed just for us, our navy towels are a perfect match with our navy bed linen designs.
