“After looking at alarms to protect an empty home awaiting future possible sale I settled on the Chuango H4-LTE because of it's core capabilities of wireless radio for the hub to all the peripherals, then both Wi-Fi and 4GLTE for the connection to the APP running in a redundant set up of Wi-Fi first but falling back to 4G-LTE if Wi-Fi is lost. I utilised PIRs and a few reed-switches plus an external siren / strobe.
I have now fully installed the system and it is working very well with no false alarms. The App that manages it made the set-up very straight forward and also provides a good ongoing management capability, with notifications of status changes, and the ability to turn the alarm on and off. We are utilising the fact that multiple people can have the App and can be configured by the Administrator as having simple control or full Admin capabilities.
Because it is fully wireless the installation was very straight forward and any future relocation of the alarm after property sale will be equally straight forward.
While I have configured a fairly simple Alarm System the Hub can support a lot more peripherals and the list of available peripherals covers the full gamut of requirements with the exception of video, but this a gap that will be covered in the near future.”
