The Grow: Grew this in 5 Gallon pots using coco coir and perlite as a medium. Responds extremely well to HST. I bent each plant in half at week 3, which broke apical dominance without an issue for 5-7 mains on each plant. Out of 5 seeds, one I accidentally let dry out while it was germinating, and one grew thin and spindly, with sickly leaves, so I cut it down early. Of the remaining 3 plants, two developed thick, purple buds straight away, while the third seemed to lag behind before exploding into dense buds which developed very rapidly, only turning purple about a week before harvest. These plants do develop a ton of fan leaves, so don't be afraid to take a bunch off here and there. The Smoke: After a wet trim, a 3 day dry, and three days in the jars so far, and some bubble hash from the trim, I am prepared to render judgement. Hash from the trim is nothing special. Very potent, very heady, with that traditional peppery taste. Buds are deep purple, and smell very sweet. Very smooth, even at the beginning of the cure. Flavor is very sweet, with a very strong berry flavor. Undernotes of vanilla, cinnamon, and lemon give it an aftertaste reminiscent of cinnamon cookies. A more accurate strain name for this might be Blackberry Cobbler, since that's what it tastes light. Very little harshness, and even the secondhand smoke smells of berry.
