I received a 3-seed freebie from Seedsman and decided to try growing one in a 2-liter bottle. I had no issue with it sprouting. It had large broad leaves during veg and was a short plant. However, during the first 2 weeks of flower, she stretched to catch up with my other plant (also an indica) that had a 10 day head start. The Bubba Kush caught up in height quickly and produced thick dense buds. I didn't perform any LST or topping because I wanted to see how she developed naturally. Currently 49 days of flower and I'm hoping to see her top cola fill out a little more before harvest in about 2 weeks.

I've grown out your Jack Herer, Bubba Kush 3 different times and your Critical Purple Kush. All 3 strains have harmed while none of my other strains from different companies did. They also dont resemble the real strains in any way. Even the pics I see on IG of Seedsman gear are all over the place and look different from each other. Like no stability at all. I will not be ordering from you guys ever again. My ripper seeds were good bit your brand sucks. I will now be ordering from other sources for now on.

Only two of five germinated (two freebie packs of three). One of those made it a month and failed after a struggle. The other has made it a month now and looks good. Hope springs eternal. Failure to germinate or thrive has been a consistent outcome for most strains of freebies. Even strains I am familiar with (especially Barney’s Farm varieties) have less vigor than when purchased from other suppliers. All seeds and strains regardless of source receive consistent good treatment. I was first nicknamed “Homegrown” in 1979. Flash forward and I now have over ten years growing indoors. Freebies aren’t free if they fail after using resources and space. Doubt I’ll be back, and I’m not looking for any replacements.
