Acapulco Gold Feminised Seeds Reviews

4.1 Rating 266 Reviews
Having smoked and grown the original back in the 60/70's, I was interested to see how this performed. Bought 10 seed pack, 6 did NOT sprout....bad performance there. Grew 2 last year, growing one this year, have 1 seed for next year. I get the standard meter in height growth, buds not very dense but the effects are off the charts. GREAT for arousal! Great taste, easy to roll. The longer I cured it, the better it got. I live in the desert so high heat makes it a little difficult to grow (outdoors). Very reminiscent of the original but lacks the GOLD that pooped in the buds. Don't care about looks. Can't wait for this years plant as Kelp powder (leaf spray and in soil topping, have really made a big difference. Likes nutes (1 a week, weak solution), foliage spray 2/3/4 times a day. Has been hot here (107-109 f) and plant seems to handle it ok so far. lite water 2/3 times a day

j picked this one out for the novelty of its name. I found it had little to do with the description of the original. The buds were very dark green. Very dense but not a heavy yield. The taste was very different... almost strange. I can only describe it as something like black licorice, kinda. Plants are small, and very sturdy. Flower times are as advertised.

A month after sprouting (hydro rig) the plant was very underdeveloped/dwarfed (only about 3" high) and the roots hadn't developed enough to go from seed pod to nutrient basin. What use is giving info: Grow Difficulty (1=Easy, 5=Hard): 3? What exactly does "3" mean? Is this a code? Okay, it's not "easy" but what does a "3" tell me besides it's not easy? Does that "3" mean I should NOT have thrown that underdeveloped plant out? Giving out a 'difficulty' index is worthless unless it is quantified. I've only grown Barney's seeds since I began 6 years ago - love you guys. But seriously, "What exactly does a '3' mean? Is a '3' the same 'difficulty' for each seed, or is a '3' any number of possible problems? Maybe serious growers know what a '3' means, but not helpful for my efforts in this case,,, I'm two weeks into my second Acapulco Gold and this baby seems to be leaning toward being a 'dwarf' also,,,

Germinated, but all died 3 days after.... I was very surprised, having 12 years experience, it was unexpected.
