“Extremely impressed with this. Absolutely zero regrets with the purchase. I’m a foreign correspondent covering Europe and the Middle East for Australian television. I’ve come to Europe recently unacclimatised to the cold, and was thrust directly into reporting on the recent floods in Spain, a story in Ukraine on the war, Storm Bert in the UK, a Hostile Environment Training course and have just returned from Paris for the Notre Dame reopening, where the outside ceremony was moved indoors due to the weather leaving the news crews outside in the elements. I wanted to buy one jacket I could throw everything at and was weighing up between this and a Canada Goose jacket. After buying the Lockroy Parka I’ve used it on each of these assignments and I’ve remained warm and dry while other members of the crew or competitors have been battling with inferior kit. Wearing it around town in London in regular late autumn/early winter temperatures it’s not too hot. In -7 degrees with strong winds I’m astonished at how warm I am compared to other overcoats I own. From a technical standpoint the design is great. A lot of thought has gone into it to make pockets, buttons and zips easy to use with gloves on. There are pouches and pockets everywhere which is great for me storing radio microphones, mobile broadcast gear, passports, wallets and portable chargers. Plus it’s great on camera, doesn’t look too busy, no garish branding on the front. 10/10”
