“I did considerable research with the K5 as it is a lot of money to spend on a permanent dashcam… and you get 2 cameras!.
The K5 is a dash cam and I chose it over other competitors as I wanted a dashcam that would power up when I started my bike and loop record automatically.
Picture quality on both cameras I s fantastic and looks great on phone, laptop or tv.
The innovv app is also useful if you want to quickly and easily keep a video/picture for editing or review.
Additional functions for a quick video save or even in an accident the system will store the video in a folder that won’t be overwritten.
Installation seems easy enough, plan your job as the 4K camera is bulky and so is the cabling. I have a sports tourer and it was easy to install but the mounting location of the 4K camera was difficult mainly due to the fact I wanted it hidden. The smaller 1080P rear camera was done in minutes.
Have been running the system now for a week or so and more than happy with the choice of the innovv product over other leading competitors. The quality of the units are exceptional, good sturdy mounts and casings with no cheap plastics to corrode or snap under load. Thinking now of installing another unit in my car.
I chose the 32gb unit as I already had a micro card to use so didn’t need to purchase the larger memory card options. 512gb card should give you a good 60 plus hours of high definition recording on both cameras.”
