“Buy them, you will thrilled with your purchase! I'm a Pilates instructor and I've tried a few other types of fabric resistance bands but I've found that they usually have too much stretch or are too large in size. The bands from Shelter are perfect and I could just feel the difference in quality right away. I ended up ordering more sets for my Pilates Studio. I also want to point out the customer service is the best! I reached out with questions and Mike was beyond helpful. You can tell that Shelter Fitness is a family business and that every single customer is very important to them. Excellent company to do business with.”

“Not a fan. These feel like they don’t stretch far enough and I think that’s because they only come in one size. I made a mistake by purchasing a product directly through a company website vs. Amazon because now I get to pay to return an item that wasn’t a good fit… and just donate money to UPS for no reason. Just buy from Amazon. Returns are much simpler and it doesn’t make you question whether you should or shouldn’t buy something. Whereas with direct websites, you either better love it or you’re gonna be paying to send it back.”

As a small family-owned business it is impossible for us to compete with Amazon's shipping subsidies, but we do focus on selling high-quality equipment and provide a personal touch that you simply can't get with the big superstores. The success of our customer's fitness journey is our primary motivation for operating, not selling cheap gear in high volume. To your point about shipping, we do charge a reasonable fee for return shipping for items that are not defective, but do try to make up for this by offering free shipping for any order over $50 and by providing service that goes above and beyond. Our glute bands are trusted by major gyms and studio facilities across the country so we feel they provide a high-quality product at a price that is difficult to beat.
