These anchors have worked great on my Shelter Logic truck shelter. They were reasonably easy to install and my shelter has withstood some high wind gusts here in the back woods of Vermont!

Every time I tried to hammer the anchors into the ground (we are in a highly rocky area) the rod would get stuck in the anchor and pull it back out of the ground. The rod needs to be tapered on one end or a slightly smaller diameter to keep it from jamming into the anchor. Getting the rod to release from the anchor was also a fun task. Vice grips and claw hammer! After the third attempt, I gave up

Overall a great product. Once installed it met my needs and passed inspection. I'd recommend cleaning the end of the driving rod and using some grease or anti seize on it though. It got stuck in one of the anchors and I had to use a hoist to pull it out, hammer it apart and then drive it back in after cleaning and greasing it.

Unfortunately with the very first anchor we tried, the driving rod got stuck and we still can't get it out. I called support but they were not able to assist. This is now a hazard for my dogs and my children as I'm afraid somebody's going to fall on this and impale themselves. I just can't get it out no matter what I do. I've even tried spraying WD-40 down in to the hole hoping that some of it will get down to where the rod is jammed into the anchor. I've called someone I know with a sawzall to see if we can cut this rod off below the ground surface and just bury it. We've been at this for hours now and unfortunately are going to have to return the rest of the anchors we purchased and look for a different product.

we don't need anything special for tools but a hammer to install these easy hook anchors just make sure your framing is in the right place before you install these easy hook anchors than its done.
