Pull-Eaze Roll-Up Door Kit Reviews

I bought this because the alternative to not having it was unbearable. Since I have had it installed getting my equipment in and out of the shed has been a breeze

The only thing I don't like is the rope. I think it would be easier to use if it was a little thicker. Other than that this works great. Wish there was a way that it attached to the zipper to pull it open and close as you roll it up and down.

Purchased this to go on the end of an 8x12 round top shelter with the heaviest fabric. Instructions are mostly helpful but seem written by someone with no actual product knowledge. For example it says to locate the holes for anchoring the drawstring 18" from each zipper. on the 8x12 the zippers are about 40" apart on the top, so the anchors would actually cross each other. The hollow tubes provided for the base to provide mass on which to roll the door must be filled with sand. Doing so makes them so heavy the segments fall apart when rolling the door up. There is no provided way to anchor the weight tubes to the bottom edge of the door, so with weight in it the tube slides out of the door pocket if one end of the door comes up faster than the other. Had to add additional segments because the door fabric sets behind (interior to) the side fabric, so with only 3 segments in the pocket it would catch on the side fabric (which wraps around the front panel) every time, about three feet off the ground. Also, the heaviest fabric gets so stiff in cold weather it won't roll under any condition. So - poor instructions, poor design, and non-functional in the cold. Nice people. Product fails to deliver on intended function.

Hello, We are very sorry to see that you are not pleased with your roll up door kit. We are constantly updating our manuals and looking for ways to improve our products and will be using this feedback proactively. We are available 7 days a week for assembly support and troubleshooting at 1-800-932-9344. We also have How To videos posted on our page (see the link below). As for the fabric being stiff when being rolled up, that tends to happen the first several times. We suggest, when the weather permits, leaving it rolled up for several hours so the fabric creates memory and makes the subsequent applications easier. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. http://www.shelterlogic.com/support/how-to-videos/,Customer Service,Debora

I put up a 22 x 24 Shelterlogic garage which all went well (except about half of the pipes wouldn't slide together due to dimples created at the bolt holes. But with a hammer and a file that was resolved). Was surprised to find out that there was no provision for holding the door flaps open. Ordered two sets of roll up door parts. Problem was that all the pulleys were so loose that the thin rope provided got pinched between the side of the pulley and the frame. Customer Service was nice enough and they sent me new ones, but they had the same issue. I went to my hardware store and bought a larger diameter rope and it now works fine. Hope mfg, quality control, purchasing or someone else at Shelter Logic will address this before it spoils their reputation.

When I purchased my used 1015 shelter, It came with the Pull-Eaze Roll_Up Door Kit that was not used on the shelter. After I finished putting up the shelter, that is when I noticed the extra parts for the Roll up door kit. I installed per the instruction with my own added security, being Gorilla Tape over the cuts in the material to give more strength. I works very well. I does catch my plate on the front of my car but that is only because the shelter is to small for my car. Also, every ounce and a while, I have to pull one side up at one time because of the miss timing of pulling both lines at the same time. I would highly recommend this product. If you would like to see a short video of how I installed it and how it works, Copy and paste the link into youtube and watch the roughly 6 minute video. https://youtu.be/Um3228qQbdA

I installed the door myself, the directions were clear and it was easy. Now I can pull my tractor in and out of my shelter much easier.
