The concept works but the cord gets caught up in the pulleys. Need a better pulley.

I recently replaced the covering of my 14 year old shelter logic 8’X12’X24’ Quonset style garage and installed the roll up door device on one end. It works so very well I plan to install another on the other end of the shelter to allow cooling of the interior on hot sunny days.

I got many years out of the original, light-weight, cover that came with my Garage-in-a-Box and replaced it, when it finally failed, with a Mid-weight cover. I hadn't had a door kit previously but thought it best to have one for the new door as it was heavier and I was older. The door kit was easy to install by myself and I had it in in about an hour. Filling the pipe weight, that slips in at the bottom of the door, was the trickiest for a single person to do. I wasn't impressed, at first, with how the door kit raised the door. The door didn't roll up as shown that it should, but raised like a pleated window blind. I used it that way. It raised the door enough to get in and out and lowered easily without hanging up. The temps outside have dropped and now the door rolls up nicely, being stiffer and not easily bunched up. Now I'm impressed.

Not properly designed. The concept is true, but the performance is quite crude.

Everyone who purchases a shelterlogec should not be without one. This is my second one. Each time I bough one I made sure I got the roll Up door. It makes life easy. It’s awesome. Summertime I roll it up to where I need it and wintertime roll it down and zip it up. Thank you for having a roll up door.

We purchased a roll up door kit from shelter logic and it seems to be working really well. Much nicer than having an open tent that snow can get into. The rope roll up feature works best if you just start the roll by hand and then it rolls up uniformly but if you don't have time, you can simply pull on the rope and it will lift up out of the way. Thanks. This is great.

I found the kit easy to install. I have had a ShelterLogic garage for over 15 years and finally decided to get one. It was much better than my DIY pulley rig and is much more reliable. The kit is worth the money!

I've had and used the ShelterLogic Hut for over ten years and I also has roll up doors on both ends now. Having the option to roll up either door increases the usefulness of the shelter so I would highly recommend these to anyone.
