“The instructions are very bare, but one of the graphics is that it takes one person around 30 minutes. No, not really. Super hard to hold parts together on either side of the wall, inside and out, while trying to get the plastic pop rivets in. Definitely takes two people and a ladder.
Once in, it seems like it does a good job.”

“Product is what it says, a vent that opens when hot and closes in the cold. There are three things which would improve this product:
1. Include extra gromets, easy to drop these when trying to install and would be a nice touch given the minimal cost.
2. The fly screens should be larger, can be difficult centering the screen on install and making them a little larger would help.
3. Why not have a printed square on the back of the box for a template. This would make the layout process so easy, just cut the square out of the box and use it as a template.”

We are sorry you feel this way! This is the first-time hearing about this. Please note that our Vent-Kit comes as a pair, one vent on each door panel. The Vent Kit has a heat-sensitive bimetallic spring which begins to open the vent at 74°F. The Vent is fully open at 104°F, and Vent closes as the temperature cools down. “The greenhouse I am replacing had a terrible problem with ventilation and so heavy condensation and over heating were a constant problem. This self opening vent is going to be the perfect solution to solve both heat and moisture problems. What is best is I thought the only option was a powered vent, but this is temperature controlled and will work perfectly as our end walls are alighed with prevailing wind.”
